Senior Consultant, B2B Marketing:

The Senior Consultant, B2B Marketing is an integral part of the Rebound consulting team and is responsible for working with client B2B marketing leadership to develop and lead the execution of marketing strategies.  Depending on the size of the client, this position may work independently or with other members of the Rebound and client team to develop and execute awareness, lead generation, and thought leadership campaigns that align with the clients’ business and sales goals.

This position also has responsibilities within Rebound, helping to expand this practice in partnership with executive leadership. The Senior Consultant may be a component of the sales process, working with Rebound sales and practice leads to create presentations and proposal responses demonstrating Rebound’s capabilities and expertise to meet client needs. Other responsibilities may include leading a team of multidisciplinary Rebound consultants for small to mid-size engagements, onboarding and mentoring new marketers, training cross-functional teams on the Rebound approach, and developing and/or updating internal playbooks to reflect Rebound processes and best practices.

Core Responsibilities:

Business/Solution Development

  • Provide solution expertise during the sales process
  • Maintain, develop, and expand client relationships when assigned as an account lead
  • Help develop new solution offerings to better solve customer problems and differentiate Rebound in the market
  • Participate in the creation of proposals, presentations, and Statements of Work

Client Relations & Billable Work

  • Understand the business challenge and what the client wants to achieve and align with Rebound solutions
  • Utilize Rebound playbooks and processes to ensure a consistent deliverable
  • Lead small to mid-size client engagements, ensuring a consistent approach with all Rebound consultants
  • Provide project management and reporting for client engagements

Internal Rebound Responsibilities

  • Help develop and execute strategies to grow Rebound’s business
  • Contribute to the development of proprietary Rebound models (e.g., tools, accelerators, processes etc.) and intellectual property (e.g., playbooks) to ensure consistency of delivery across clients
  • Contribute to the development of practice area collateral, offerings, and supporting sales materials
  • Work with copywriters to drive thought leadership within the B2B Marketing practice (blogs, points of view, eBooks, campaigns, etc.)

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field
  • 7+ years’ experience in a corporate marketing, marketing generalist or product marketing role
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience at a leading consulting firm; Big 4 experience preferred OR 4+ years of healthcare industry specific experience with commensurate skills applicable towards consulting.
  • 2+ years in SaaS, Technology, or Life Science Tech marketing
  • Demonstrated understanding of principles of successful relationship management
  • Experience developing and managing successful multi-channel campaigns
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Eye for detail
  • Understanding of the healthcare, life sciences, or Tech industry
  • Experience working within a collaborative team or work environment
  • Demonstrated success managing at least one work stream of a large project
  • A high level of motivation, self-starting attitude and mature judgment
  • Ability to think creatively and thrive on new challenges
  • A strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
